Pasir Ris Park - December 2015

Pasir Ris Park!! A sort of impromptu trip there, but Bai and i managed to walk the more ulu parts of the park, because although we went to Pasir Ris Park a few times in our lives, there are still some parts we have never been to before.

Proof shot that Bai and i went to Pasir Ris Park. Before starting this blog, i was saying that proof shots should include our faces inside and so we should pose at the signboards, but... it's weird. And i am not a good poser :X so yeah, just the signboards will do :X
Map of Pasir Ris Park
Pasir Ris Park is split into 4 parts. We took bus 403 from Pasir Ris bus interchange to the roundabout at Area 3 (also the 'last' stop for 403 since 403 is a loop service). So first place we went to, the playground area!! Eh... it was fun! But for me, the older i get, the more afraid of heights (and falling from heights) i get >< As much as i wanted to climb the spiderwebs, i just can't T_T I can if there was some sort of good protection (aka harness :X) The 'flying fox' was fun!! Thanks to Bai who pushed me :P Hmm... the merry-go-round hanging version, i would have enjoyed it if i had a better tolerance of the pain caused by gripping :X

I can't even go halfway up T_T

:0 !!!!!
Sad me at the bottom ;_;

Managed to capture a rare shot of no one at the swings on a Saturday afternoon

Hahaha :P

Happy us!
The map make it looks as if Pasir Ris Park is huge, but it's actually not that big, haha. For Area 2, initially we wanted to see the horse stable, but it was closed for renovations :( So we somehow decided to walk through part of the mangrove area (bad idea because mosquitos were out to suck our blood nuuuu T_T), and we ended up in a very ulu part of Pasir Ris Park, where there was this maze out of nowhere that we never knew it existed.

Saw people sailing and kayaking

Random yellow bird in the mangrove area

At the entrance of the maze

The very rewarding view of exiting the maze ._. Ok, the maze wasn't that difficult, well... for me, i followed Bai so... :X

Panorama shot to show how ulu this part of the park is :0 Why is the last part slightly brighter tho :/
We didn't really explore Area 1, because... we were tired :X Anyway, Area 1 is the area closest to the chalets, I have been there before and isn't really anything interesting there anyway :X

Empty road :P At the end is the new chalet, D'Resort.

Mid-tide
It seems that i won't be going to GBTB tomorrow because my secondary school friends changed plan, well i don't really mind.

Bonus videos :P
