Dragon Playground and Ang Mo Kio Town Garden East

First post of 2016! 2 days before the new semester starts, oh no T_T Should have visited more parks this week, but i was busy slacking off at home :X At least i visited a park and a playground today with Bai ^^

So we first went to the Dragon Playground at Ang Mo Kio (note: not the original one). It seems really sturdy and safe to get on :) The colours of the dragon weren't what i expected though, because all the SG50 Dragon Playground pictures are all red and white ._. Then i realised there is another one at Toa Payoh :X

Bai sliding down the slide cutely! :P

Rawr!!
Oh right, if you are wondering why there are brackets between 'Dragon Playground and', it's because the playground isn't really a park :X I am kinda particular about these kind of things... but i decided to put it here because it isn't an unknown place and the playground is near Ang Mo Kio Town Garden East which was our next destination ^^

Stairs up to the park!
I realised many parks are on a hill, hmm... random realisation.

I never knew Lower Peirce Reservoir is so near Ang Mo Kio MRT ._. My knowledge of places is bad :( The park is right beside Ang Mo Kio MRT, should've taken a shot of the MRT from the park :( Anyway, somehow i was fascinated that the MRT is on the same level as the roads :X because i hardly take the NS line...

Random artwork along the construction site barrier which i found it interesting
Random playground shot at the bottom part of park which is near a cc which i forgot the name of the cc :X
Giant nutmeg!
There are these giant nutmeg statues lying along the slopes of the park, i think the park is famous for its nutmeg? ._. There were nutmeg trees in the park? Haha, interesting. I also hugged the giant nutmeg as a pose but i don't have the photo in my phone :(

Hope i still have time to visit parks when the new semester starts >< New semester, please be nice to me!! *prays hard*
